FABER RYAN YOUTH FOUNDATION GALA BRINGS CELEBRITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY TOGETHER TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE REACH FOR THE STARS
The Faber Ryan Youth Foundation (FRYF) proudly announces LIVE 2019 a red-carpet gala to be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Live House Hollywood, 1534 N. Highland Ave., Los Angeles, California. Long-time supporter and Actress Charlene Tilton (The Middle, Dallas) will be the official host of the star-studded event, which will highlight live performances by FRYF youth pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. She will be joined by co-host, Helena Mattsson (American Horror Story, Mistresses). Proceeds from the star-studded event will benefit the programs and projects of the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation, whose mission is to help at-risk youth pursue careers in the entertainment industry and to reach their full potential by providing life, leadership and critical thinking skills. J. Mallory McCree (Quantico, Homeland) will be presented with the First Annual Tenacity Award, recognizing his commitment to mentoring youth and his accomplishments in the entertainment industry.
The evening will kick off with a star-studded Red Carpet including appearances by Shanti Lowry (Code Black, Family Time, The Game), Christine Divine (Fox News), Petri Byrd (Judge Judy), Sheila Houlahan (recurring on Syfy's Z Nation), Sofia Milos (CSI Miami, Sangre Negra), John Salley (NBA Champion, Entrepreneur), Lester Speight (CSI Los Angeles), and many others!
At 7 pm, VIP guests will enjoy a reception featuring intimate live performances, wine, spirits, a curated Elixir Bar, and tray-passed gourmet food prepared by celebrity chef and owner of Topanga Catering, Jeff Kramer. Chef Jeff is known for his innovative and artful dishes using the freshest, seasonal ingredients possible. The doors open at 8 pm to the full party which will feature high energy performances, highlight the work of FRYF and keep everyone dancing into the late hours from celebrity DJ, Bryan Chesters.
Dr. Jay Faber, President of the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation had a very specific vision for the event. “I want people to not only see the potential of the young people we have worked so closely with, but to also experience a high energy, over the top Hollywood experience.” The non-profit organization officially started launched in 2017 under the leadership of Dr. Jay Faber, a longtime adult and children’s psychiatrist, as well as a friend and colleague of the late Dr. Frank H. Ryan, a renowned plastic surgeon to the stars who passed away tragically nine years ago in a car accident.
“It is my honor to lead the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation with a mission that reflects the original spirit and vision of the Frank H. Ryan Foundation,” said Dr. Faber. “Our name pays homage to Frank’s original vision with the Bony Pony Ranch Foundation and the magical place he created for thousands of kids to explore and renew.
