Borini's talent requires a certain level of respect

Digital Sports Group are today launching the PFA Profile of Liverpool striker Fabio Borini. DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their site football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Fabio Borini to see his official PFA Profile.
Fabio Borini burst on to the scene in English Football as a Chelsea FC youth player in 2007. He was the first choice striker for the reserve team with 10 goals from 11 appereances. As Catapin of the Chelsea Reserves, he scored five times in one game to bring Chelsea back from 3-0 down agaisnt West Brom. Chelsea Reserves went on to win the game 5-4. With limited apperances at Chelsea however – Borini moved to Championship side Swansea, linking up with former Chelsea Youth Coach Brendan Rodgers. He went on to move back to Italy, before being signed by Liverpool FC in 2012 – courtesy of again, Brendan Rodgers. Fabio scored in his first competitve game at Anfield in the Europa League. He has gone on to establish himself in the starting 11 at Liverpool due to his consistent performances and link up play with Luis Suarez.. Fabio made his debut with the Italy U-21 squad in 2009. He was named captain of the Italian Team for the 2012 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championships. He made his debut for Italy on 29th February in a friendly against The United States. He went with the Italian squad to EURO 2012 but was an un-used substitute throughout the whole tournament.
