GoRecliners.com has been launched to offer online shoppers in the US a huge selection of recliners and world class customer service by phone, email, and chat from one convenient specialty website. The website currently has over forty five leather and microfiber recliners from two manufacturers. It is the second niche ecommerce website created and launched by Wholesale Furniture Brokers.

According to a report, published in April by Furniture Today, the total recliner market in 2009 was $3.3 billion. Recliners make up 5% of the total furniture and bedding spending and 15% of total upholstery spending. The report further reveals that 6% of survey respondents who plan to buy a recliner in the next 12 months, plan to buy online. "An estimated $198 million will be spent on recliners online, world-wide in 2010. We think that's a market worth a specialized shopping experience," affirms Holmes.

"GoRecliners.com was created to help Wholesale Furniture Brokers deliver a better recliner focused shopping experience to online shoppers," says Holmes. "The site gives shoppers more recliner specific options. For example, you can search for 'black' and you’re going to get results showing black recliners, without other furniture items clouding the results." As more product selection is added, more advanced filtering and comparing options will be released as well.

According to Google, 'tis the season for recliner shopping. Google Trends suggests that the amount of people searching for 'recliners' increases between November and January compared to the rest of the year.

Wholesale Furniture Brokers has added recliner chairs by Mac Motion Chairs and Stanley Chair to GoRecliners.com for the launch. More recliner manufacturers including Berkline, Coaster Company, Coja, Klaussner, Primo International, and Urban Cali are planned to be added in the coming weeks. "GoRecliners.com is on a new ecommerce platform that we designed in-house, so it's been a challenge to re-learn the product creation process," says Holmes. "We'll have a production line for adding new products in no time."

GoRecliners.com uses design aspects from GoWFB.com, but sets itself apart with updated usability features that will enhance the user's experience. "One of the first major improvements is an updated search tool with filter options that our customers can use to narrow their search results. This will give our customers more control while they search and lead them to finding better results," says Holmes. The shopping cart on GoRecliners.com has also been redesigned to be more user-friendly.

Canadian and international orders are accepted and are subject to additional shipping and customs charges. Delivery to the contiguous 48 states is free.

GoRecliners.com is the first ecommerce website to be launched on Wholesale Furniture Brokers' new 'Go' branded ecommerce website platform.Wholesale Furniture Brokers reports to have used an estimated 4,500 hours for in-house development, spending over $100,000 on the new platform since development began on the project.
