When our customers buy from us they know who they are working with and where we are located. Oddly enough that’s really not a common thing to internet shoppers these days.”

A new style of shopping experience is being built to enhance upon the current style that exists across the internet today. We all enjoy the fact that we can go online and anonymously shop without the pressure of meeting a sales person or experiencing the stress of standing on our feet for hours on end at a store. However, the down side seems to be with the lack of personal service found on the internet. Face to Face Stores is building the warm style of shopping to better interact with and assist their online customer base.
Investor and founder Tim Pletcher offers some insight into the business model and how exactly it functions in real life. “We focus on treating customers like they want to be treated and that’s a level of customer service that our competitors don’t offer” says Pletcher of Goshen Indiana. “Really, it’s as simple as the golden rule in action but when it comes to customer service that’s not as easy as it sounds. We are also taking it to the next level by implementing real physical locations for each of our online stores. When our customers buy from us they know who they are working with and where we are located. Oddly enough that’s really not a common thing to internet shoppers these days.”
"We have really just begun developing the many unique aspects of this business model" says Pletcher. The company was founded in 2010 and has experienced quick growth over the last two years. Pletcher talked about vision for the future and the unique ideas that Face to Face Stores will be implementing specifically in the area of interaction with their customers. “Basically we are doing what our competitors aren’t as far as interaction with customers. The other big part of this is the part that’s not as easy to duplicate and that's the warm customer service experience that we provide.” He went on to note that in a world filled with more and more digital interactions and interactive tools there continues to be less and less actual fulfilling interaction occurring. The company is focusing on building relationships with their customers in a way that is warm and friendly. “That’s something people want” Pletcher concluded.
Although the local economy continues to be dismal in Elkhart County Face to Face Stores continues to grow at an astounding rate. Products range from storage boxes and patio rugs to specialty copper products like rooftop weathervanes.
