Fado Irish Pub brings an authentic Irish brunch experience to the River North neighborhood. Fado Irish Pub introduced a new menu this winter that was focused on great food that goes well with drinking ...and the Fado brunch, a neighborhood secret, is no different. Every Saturday and Sunday until 3pm, customers enjoy a wide array of brunch items. The Fado brunch attracts all sorts from a group of guys watching the early soccer match to families coming in after Sunday services to girls recapping their weekends over Bloody Marys and $3 mimosas.
Brunch has become the fastest grossing segment for restaurants and what customers are looking for are great options, hearty as well as lighter fare, and delicious cocktails at value prices.
Fado is putting its own twist on Irish brunch items:
- The All-Day Irish Breakfast – the most popular item on the menu is made up of two eggs, Irish sausages, rashers, black and white pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes and pan-fried potato bread.
- House-Made Corned Beef Hash – Fado’s own corned beef sautéed with diced potatoes and topped off with two fried eggs and a creamy mustard sauce.
- Irish Bacon Omelet – a fluffy omelet with rashers, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, and cheddar cheese served with a side of breakfast potatoes.
Paired with a perfectly poured Guinness or a $3 mimosa, the Fado brunch items are sure to cure the ailments from a long night out.
Because no Irish brunch is complete without live music, every Sunday Fado has traditional live Irish music starting at noon. The Sunday Session is as traditional to an Irish pub as a Guinness and Fado Irish Pub does both better than any other Pub in Chicago.
