Fado Irish Pub in Chinatown hosts "Lost Weekend" St. Patrick's Day Blowout

The DC authentic Irish pub has fun St. Patrick's Day event all month long. This year it's giving away an all expenses paid trip for 2 to Ireland.

Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant (Fadó) located on 808 7th Street, NW in Chinatown take on a "Lost Weekend" theme this year with a 2 day party. Doors open on St. Patrick’s Day at 7:00am complete with proper pints, festive T-Shirts, and a pre-parade brunch menu served until 2:00pm. Live music starts at 2:00pm and goes until late in the evening.

On Saturday and Sunday, Fado offers the best mix of Irish music, food and entertainment.

Bringing new meaning to Super Saturday, on Saturday March 16, Fadó will also feature live 6 Nations Rugby starting with Italy v. Ireland at 10:30am. Doors open at 8am. St. Practice Day ends with live music from Rew Smith at 10:00pm.

As usual, the authentic Irish pub will proudly begin celebrating St. Patrick’s Day long before March 17 with events like a Whiskey Tastings, Irish Themed Pub Quiz and the St. Baldrick’s Charity Event. This year is even more special because Fado is celebrating it's golden anniversary - the pub is turning 15 on Friday, March 15th and throwing a huge Stellabration party.

Also, guests will be hoping to inherit some of that infamous Irish luck as the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration features a chance to win an all-expenses paid vacation for two to Ireland. The winner will receive flights, hotel and a tour of the Guinness Brewery at St. James Gate in Dublin. All you have to do to enter the contest is sign up for the Fadó email list.

St. Patrick's Day Bash
Fadó presents: Lost Weekend, an all-day event dedicated to live music and an authentically Irish party. The St. Patrick’s Day party begins at 7:00am with the full brunch menu and the party ramps up at 2:00pm with live music from 40 Thieves and Lloyd Dobbler Effect!
$10 cover starts at noon. 21+ starting at 3:00pm.

Saturday, March 16
St. Practice Day Party
Doors open at 8:00am for brunch. 6 Nations Rugby Super Saturday matches live starting with Italy v. Ireland at 10:30am. The day ends with live music from Rew Smith starting at 10:00pm
