Fadó Irish Pub in downtown Seattle Announces Plans for Its Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration

The authentic Irish pub celebrates St. Patrick's Day all month long with a long list of fun lead-up events including themed pub quiz and the St. Baldrick's Charity Fundraiser. Patrons also have a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip for two to Ireland.

For the 13th consecutive year, Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant (Fadó) brings the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration to downtown Seattle at 801 1st Ave so come thirsty. The St. Patrick’s Day celebration takes on the "Lost Weekend" theme this year and starts at 8AM, complete with proper Irish breakfast, perfect pints of Guinness, and festive merchandise. The all-day extravaganza brings the best mix of Irish music, food and entertainment.

The "Lost Weekend" begins on Saturday, March 16 for Parade Day. Doors open at 7:15am and Fadó hosts a huge Parade Post Party with live music kicking off at 1pm. Parade Day will also feature a Super Saturday 6 Nations Rugby Tournament watch party to celebrate this year’s ‘European Champion.’ Live matches start at 7:30am with Italy v. Ireland. Fadó's St. Patrick's Day weekend events are sure to leave some guests wondering where they were all weekend, perfectly fitting the "Lost Weekend" theme.

As usual, the authentic Irish pub will proudly begin celebrating St. Patrick’s Day long before March 17 with events like a Paddy’s Theme Pub Quiz and St Baldrick’s Charity Event.

This year, guests will be hoping to inherit some of that infamous Irish luck, as the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration features a chance to win an all-expenses paid vacation for two to Ireland. Sunday, March 17
St. Patrick's Day blowout!
Fadó's all-day St. Patrick's Day event, dedicated to live music and authentically Irish, begins at 8am with brunch. The festivities kick up at 1pm with live music from Justin, Servants of the Rich and Kennedy Brothers. The Seattle Firefighters Pipe Band will also be performing throughout the day. $15 cover starts at noon.

Saturday, March 16
Parade Day party and 6 Nations Rugby Super Saturday!
Doors open bright and early at 7:15am for 6 Nations Rugby Super Saturday matches live. Then the huge Parade Post Party starts the St. Patrick's Day Lost Weekend off right. Fado will also be showing the Sounders FC v. Portland game live! Live music starts at 1pm with Servants of the Rich and Kennedy Brothers.


Saturday, 3/9
Annual St Baldrick’s Charity Event starts starts at 2pm
Head shaving, volunteering and donations welcome -- great craic for a great cause. Live music with the Mish Brothers to keep the party going at 9pm.

Sunday, 3/10
Scott Firefighter Stair Climb post party at 4pm– an all around great excuse for day drinking! The more live music with the Kennedy Brothers at 9pm.

Monday, 3/11
Whiskey Tasting Event at 7:30
This is a great event for whiskey lovers. Guests can sample and learn about 4 different types of whiskeys while enjoying the best appetizers on the menu. The Happy Hour style event is only $20 per person.

Wednesday, 3/13
Paddy's Day Pub Quiz at 6.30pm
All teams welcome. Test one's St Patrick's Day knowledge and back it up with great prizes including passes to St Patrick's Day!
