Mop Prime, Executive VP/Creative Director of Smith-Felver & Prime, today announced the debut of FamblyNews.com. Centered in the tiny town of Ruster’s Cove, the website/blog features an odd assortment of outright crackpots and over-the-top neurotics. The real star however, is the extremely naughty and high-spirited Bunny Fitzgrundy, who continually turns up the heat from normal to bubbling over berserk. Both naive and manipulative, Bunny Fitzgrundy combines a kindergartener's ego with wacky adult humor. (Click here to view Bunny's video.)

The brainchild of Prime, FamblyNews.com is dedicated to hilarity and wit as a way to endure during challenging economic times. “People endure because they laugh,” said Prime, “and writing about the zany goings on of the fictional town Ruster's Cove makes me roar with laughter. I simply wanted to share the humor.”

Prime is quick to point out that FamblyNews.com is a collaborative effort. About a month into the project, Prime asked long-time friend, Steve Green, to join her in the venture. “Steve is one of the funniest people I know, and coincidently, my oldest friend. I knew his brilliant sense of humor, insane viewpoint of the world, and wisecrackin’ style would add another dimension to the characters who live in the cove. He agreed. He had little choice. I badgered,” noted Prime.

The exact location of Ruster’s Cove is kept secret, the only clue being that it is somewhere on the tony North Shore of Long Island, an area Prime & Green know well. A major hint is that Prime is the 13th generation of her family to be born and raised in Huntington, Long Island. She cut her teeth on the history of the region and the comedic quirks of many of the local residents were typical dinner table conversations in both the Prime and the Green households.

Prime and Green will be updating FamblyNews.com with new stories, town gossip, terrible recipes, plus irregular editions of Ruster’s Cove Bugle & Toot, and Bunny Fitzgrundy’s wildly hilarious videos. “Stay tuned,” said Green, “and remember, no matter how innocent he looks, the bunny did it.”
