Simon Boynton, Managing Director, DSG, said; ‘There has been a tremendous response to our poll and the voting has certainly thrown up some surprise candidates for the Awards. The unique open nature of this vote always allows for the fans’ true voice to be heard and means that a player who has over performed in an underperforming team is just as likely to win as one of the more obvious candidates. The names above are just some of the contenders and anyone can still win so, we urge fans of all clubs to visit http://bit.ly/ILMskr and register their vote.’
