FatWallet.com, the preferred online resource for millions of smart shoppers, today announced results from its FatWallet 2012 Cyber Monday Shopping Survey. According to a survey of 600 consumers across the U.S. planning to shop on Nov. 26, 2012, 62% expect to find the best holiday season deals on Cyber Monday, while only 16% said after. While 74% of those surveyed said they shopped on Cyber Monday in 2011, 33% said they plan to spend more this year, while 54% said they would spend the same as last year. When it comes to who they will shop for on Cyber Monday, 30% said they will be shopping only for holiday gifts for others, while 12% will shop only for themselves (58% will shop for both others and themselves). Items they will be shopping for the most on Cyber Monday:

This study was commissioned by FatWallet and conducted online by Amplitude Research during the third week of November and had 600 total online survey respondents with a maximum sampling error of +/- 4.0 percentage points.
