Apart from early retail marketing, our site analytics have been the biggest indicator that holiday shoppers are buying gifts earlier with each passing year.
Beloit, Wisconsin (PRWEB) November 10, 2011
The trend to get Black Friday sales advertising out early is growing in 2011. Today FatWallet, the preferred online shopping resource for millions of savvy shoppers, features Walmart’s self-leaked Black Friday sales items along with 27 other stores’ Thanksgiving weekend bargains. Last year at this time there were only a dozen stores leaking ads this early in FatWallet’s Black Friday Deal Finder, with Walmart’s leaked ad not emerging until November 15, 2010. The Deal Finder featured 13,676 deals from 90 stores in 2010. FatWallet anticipates more than 100 stores and 20,000 deals in 2011 to help holiday shoppers compare prices and plan their Thanksgiving weekend buying spree.
"Apart from early retail marketing, our site analytics has been the biggest indicator that holiday shoppers are buying gifts earlier with each passing year,” said FatWallet’s COO, Ryan Washatka. “We’ve responded with a host of early features, tools, tips and more up-to-the-minute news to help shoppers take full advantage of all the early opportunities to save money.”
Early shoppers will benefit from FatWallet’s Early Black Friday Deals featuring all the best coupons and deals from more than 100 stores including OfficeMax’s “Black Friday Every Day”, Overstock’s Pre-Black Friday Sale and Kohl’s “Christmas Kickoff”. Online shoppers should prepare for the traditional Black Friday weekend deals to be available for purchase on Thanksgiving day, if not earlier in the week, like Newegg’s quick jump out of the gate on Wednesday in 2010.
