Faxitron Announces New Senior Vice President of Medical Sales

Faxitron today announced the appointment of Scott Peairs as Senior Vice President Global Sales, Faxitron Medical and also as a Board Director of Faxitron Bioptics, LLC. Scott will be responsible for growing our domestic medical business as well as capitalizing on the significant growth Faxitron has achieved internationally over the past few years, where we expect to deliver product to over 30 countries in 2013 alone. Scott will be a tremendous addition to the team having had vast experience across a variety of medical device businesses.

Scott joins us from BTG Biocompatibles, where as VP Sales & Marketing he was responsible for setting up and managing the direct sales team for the BTG interventional oncology business. His prior experience includes senior sales and marketing positions with INTIO Inc., Covidien, Mallinckrodt and an interim position as VP Sales & Marketing with Bioptics prior to the Faxitron X-ray and Bioptics merger. Scott earned both a BS in Electrical Engineering and BA in Biology from Bucknell University, followed by an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He resides in Longmont, Colorado with Paula, his wife, and their three boys.
