Purchased Power, a fictional novel by first-time author Dennis Sheehan, has just been released by Tate Publishing to Amazon.com, Borders, Barnes & Noble and other national and online book retailers. Purchased Power is also available at book signings in the New York area. An east coast book tour is currently being scheduled and details can be viewed at http://www.dennissheehanauthor.com.

Sheehan has penned a story of international intrigue, political corruption, betrayal and romance that takes the reader on a voyage to some of the most exotic countries in the world through the eyes of protagonist John Moore. It’s a story, based on the well-traveled life of the author, which demonstrates human weakness and greed, where questionable errors in judgment put the fragile lives of the novel’s characters on desperate and perilous paths.

Over the years, Sheehan has worked with government officials from China, Russia, Finland, Holland, France, Italy, Germany, England and the United States, which has set the framework for Purchased Power, and his soon to be released follow up and continuation of John Moore’s saga, Green to Red.

Purchased Power is Dennis Sheehan’s first novel. He was first introduced to the world of international trade on the shipping docks of Brooklyn, N.Y. Since then he has worked on many and myriad international trade projects, including major construction projects in Libya, South America, Russia and The Peoples Republic of China, where he wrote the basis for what is now “The Joint Venture Rules and Regulations” for the Peoples Republic. In his time overseas, he became an expert in international finance and the privatization of communist countries. In 1987, Sheehan helped develop a plan for the privatization of the cooperatives and collectives in Russia. For more information, visit http://www.dennissheehanauthor.com.
