Dixie State College has become one of the latest NCAA schools to select FieldTurf. The Red Storm football and soccer teams will be playing on the world’s safest and highest performing brand of artificial turf at Hansen Stadium. The FieldTurf installation was completed in only two weeks to accommodate the Red Storm’s schedule.
The decision to select FieldTurf for Hansen stadium was an easy one, according to the Dixie State administration.
“After looking at all the different synthetic turf products and companies, we felt the FieldTurf product provided the absolute best in terms of safety, playability, and proven longevity,” said Dixie State College Athletic Director Jason Boothe. “The fact that FieldTurf was able to complete such a quality installation in only two weeks speaks volumes about the company.”
“We could not be happier to have FieldTurf installed in our stadium,” said Dixie State College Title Stan Plewe. “Getting the most out of your athletes’ abilities is extremely important. FieldTurf’s sand and rubber infill system and other features make it the safest and highest performing artificial turf product in the world. Moreover, their safety data at the college football level was very important to us.”
