With this added functionality, Service Management users can now decide what items should be billable (sometimes parts, sometimes labor), when they should be billable (nights, weekends, holidays), and vary the rate charged as well.
Specifically, the latest version of FieldAccess, when integrated with Sage 300 CRE Service Management, allows for:
- Very specific service level agreement (SLA) mapping to indicate under what conditions parts, labor, and miscellaneous are - or are not - covered under the SLA
- Allows for parts and labor to be billed at different rates for different specified times (business hours vs. after hours vs. holidays)
- Separate cost vs. bill entry to better manage the difference in payroll vs. billing rates
- Allows for minimum billable hours per service visit
- Automatically applies overtime rates depending upon conditions and specified rate multiplier
- Supports rounding rules (billed, or cost, or both) as set up in Service Management
