David Crary, President and Founder of HindSite Software, will be speaking at PLANET'S Green Industry Conference (GIC), a three-day event that brings together green industry professionals from across the nation. The conference, held from October 24-26 in Louisville, Kentucky, features sessions discussing everything from sales and marketing to designing, building and installing. Experts from around the country will be hosting and participating in the sessions.
Crary's session, "Innovation & Technology: Empowering My Business With Technology," will be held from 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Thursday, October 25. Crary will focus on how the typical data flow in a field service business is full of redundant, duplicative processes. He’ll demonstrate how getting true business value requires good information integration that helps managers and owners make sound business decisions while at the same time operating more efficiently.
"Our goal at HindSite is simple: To help you manage and grow your business," Crary says. "Knowledge is power for your business, which is why we’ve built a field service solution that tightly integrates all of the data in a typical field service business process, making it available to both the office and the field. The result is a paperless, more efficient and ultimately more profitable business. I’m excited to present at GIC; it is one of the best contractor-focused conferences I've ever attended."
David Crary has been in the service industry for over 20 years, half of that time as an irrigation business owner and the other half as a field service software business owner. Crary recognized the power of field service software after he realized that paperwork was killing his business’s growth. In 1998 Crary approached Vertical Systems and the software called “HindSite” was born. In 2002, HindSite partnered with Intuit, building a field service software integration with Quickbooks, and eventually becoming a certified Gold QuickBooks Developer.
