HindSite Software, a leading software provider for the field service industry, announced this month that they have surpassed 500 customers. Field service businesses use The HindSite Solution to help manage customer data, cut time and resources wasted by paperwork, schedule and route their technicians in an efficient and effective manner, and bill in minutes.

The software company has been constantly evolving over the course of its 11 years in business, a trait which owner David Crary attributes to the company reaching the 500 customer mark. “We started on PDAs, moved to netbooks and now our Android Application is enabling customers to collect data in the field using easy-to-use tablets or smartphones. To have an app on your phone that lets you do your job is a great feature that helps service companies save time and deliver better customer service.”

Along with the Android application, HindSite is nearing release 10 on their desktop product and planning for future moves towards the Cloud, adding email marketing functionality and developing an app for the iOS platform.

“We are very proud to reach the 500 customer mark. When I started this business, I really only had irrigation software in mind. Over the years, HindSite has developed into a complete field service software solution. Today, HindSite is used as lawn care software, snow removal software, HVAC & plumbing software, and many other field service industries – anything from shopping cart repair to crane maintenance. And we’re proud to still have more than 375 irrigation businesses using HindSite, including our first customer.”

And the company is not stopping at 500 customers. “We have aggressive growth goals. To achieve them, we are continuously developing new and improved features for our software.
