Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) October 8, 2009
ShareFile, a leading provider of online secure large file transfer and virtual data room solutions for businesses, announces that the company has moved its headquarters to an 11,814 square foot office in Raleigh, NC. The company's rapidly accelerating growth and increased staffing led to the need for more workspace. Highwoods Properties, the leading property management firm in the southeast, was able to tailor the space to meet the needs and time frame of ShareFile.
In the previous two months ShareFile has added several new team members in sales, marketing, account management, and engineering. With the hires and company growth, the previous office space quickly became cramped and a need for a better working environment was evident.
"Many people are shocked when they hear that we moved to an office space that is over twice as large as our previous one in the middle of a recession. Our continued growth is a testament to the hard work of the ShareFile staff and the rapid adoption of our secure file sharing offering by businesses worldwide," stated Jesse Lipson, CEO.
ShareFile's headquarters remains in Raleigh, but moves to the GlenLake Office park in the West Raleigh area. The company had been working in 2 adjoining offices for the past 3 years as the company grew quickly and needed more space. The file sharing business quickly outgrew its original 2,300 square foot office and moved part of the staff into the matching 2,300 square foot office next door. The move to the GlenLake office enables the ShareFile staff to work together in one location and provides enough room to meet the needs of a quickly expanding and successful company.
