FilesAnywhere.com announced today a new feature for its remote backup service that automatically backs up Microsoft(R) Exchange Server messaging systems. This new feature simplifies the task of backing up email databases. This feature is easy to setup and provides practical, automated, offsite protection and disaster recovery for businesses of all sizes.

it takes approximately two minutes to configure the backup settings and then the email and calendar data starts backing up immediately. We have made this FilesAnywhere feature much easier to use than traditional LAN or tape backup software. Plus, administrators have the built-in advantage of storing their backups at an offsite location, where their backups are protected and available anywhere.

FilesAnywhere's remote backup service operates in the background, which permits continuous operation of the Exchange Server messaging system. Utilizing Blowfish 128-bit encryption, backups are fully secure and are transferred over a secure channel to FilesAnywhere offsite storage. Backups can be restored on demand through the client application.

This new Exchange Server backup feature is included with all WebAdvanced plans. These plans also come with built-in redundancy at FilesAnywhere. Pricing is based on file storage necessary for backup. Month-to-month and annual storage plans range from 5GB to 500GB. A 10GB plan currently costs $19.95 per month. A free, full-featured, trial account can be started online. All plans may be purchased online at http://www.filesanywhere.com.

"Administrators are surprised when they see how fast and easy it is to setup the Exchange Server backup feature," says FilesAnywhere Senior Developer, Rickey Jaitly. Mr. Jaitly further stated that "it takes approximately two minutes to configure the backup settings and then the email and calendar data starts backing up immediately. We have made this FilesAnywhere feature much easier to use than traditional LAN or tape backup software. Plus, administrators have the built-in advantage of storing their backups at an offsite location, where their backups are protected and available anywhere."

The FilesAnywhere backup feature for Exchange Server messaging systems joins the many other existing FilesAnywhere automated backup features, including server backup, backups for Windows(R)-based and Mac(R) computers, group folders, guest sharing and more. Users can access files online through the web interface from any location and share files.
