The Capital Grille is partnering with Tuscan winemaker Castello Banfi, for the U.S. debut of its 2005 BelnerO Sangiovese di Montalcino. This highly-allocated vintage and first to boast "Proprietor's Reserve," is the culmination of three decades of wine-making refinement and will be an ideal partner to this fine dining restaurant which specializes in dry-aged steaks.
The 2009 introduction of BelnerO celebrates the Mariani family's 30th year at Castello Banfi and 90th year as America's leading importer of fine wine. In celebration of this occasion, The Capital Grille is offering a unique, five-course, fine dining dinner for $49 per person, from February 23 to April 5, 2009. The fine dining steakhouse restaurant has 35 locations nationwide.
Menu highlights will include:
- Swordfish Roasted inside Parchment Paper with White Wine, Roasted Tomatoes, Oil-Cured Olives and Capers
- Herb-Marinated, Dry-Aged Tenderloin with Garlic, Roasted Tomatoes, Red Peppers and Cipollini Onions
