Finger Lakes Riesling will be the topic on the second episode of Vine Talk on PBS. Vine Talk is hosted by Ray Isle of Food & Wine, sommelier Stephanie Caraway, and award-winning actor Stanley Tucci. Six Finger Lakes Rieslings will be featured and tasted on the show by the panel of celebrities along with the studio audience; together they will decide their favorites.
The New York Wine & Grape Foundation submitted sixteen award-winning Rieslings to the pre-screening tasting panel. The six Finger Lakes Rieslings that were chosen and will be featured are Thirsty Owl Wine Company 2009 Dry Riesling; Keuka Lake Vineyards 2009 Dry Riesling Falling Man Vineyard; Red Newt Cellars 2009 Circle Label Riesling; Chateau LaFayette Reneau 2009 Semi-Dry Riesling; Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars 2008 Late Harvest Riesling Bunch Select; and Anthony Road Martini Reinhardt Selection 2008 Riesling Trockenbeeren.
