It Can Now be Cheaper to Shop Using Firefox

Consumers who choose Firefox as their browser are likely to get better online deals than their counterparts shopping with Internet Explorer and other browsers. With the release of Vouchers.Im Add-on, Firefox becomes smart enough to inform consumers about otherwise hidden discount voucher codes which can be used in the shops they visit.

London, United Kingdom (PRWEB) July 17, 2009 -- It can now be cheaper to shop using Firefox. Vouchers.Im Indicator for Firefox is a new add-on which will keep consumers aware of all promotions and discount voucher codes available on the websites they visit.

With over 1,000 active voucher codes for hundreds of best known brands and less famous niche shops, there is no doubt anyone using Firefox with the add-on installed will have much better chance to discover available discounts than a less fortunate Internet Explorer user.

Anyone can type Vouchers.Im in their browser and land on the website to look up the discount. With regular daily updates, website contends to offer best selection of every available voucher code from the likes of Argos, Tesco, House of Fraser, Littlewoods and numerous less known brands like Passion8.

But it is only Firefox users who can now forget about tiresome searching when they need to find a working voucher code. Vouchers.Im Add-on takes seconds to install and is only 30 kilobytes in size, which helps keep browser tidy without much extra overhead. As soon as the add-on becomes active, users can be assured of an advantage to enjoy discounts they otherwise could have easily missed.

Whenever someone with the add-on installed visits a web site which can be recognized among those issuing voucher codes, the add-on checks if an active voucher code can be found. Firefox will show user an unobtrusive sliding window, much like a "download is finished" slider, containing all the information about available discounts. It will then place a little green voucher icon on the status bar for the users to click on to receive further details and to obtain a voucher code.

"I think Firefox users are much more savvy than those who are happy with Internet Explorer by default. Users who cared to try Firefox are more likely to bother for the improved experience in their other needs online. And when it comes to shopping with voucher codes, what can be better than receiving them all on a plate, without wasting precious time by doing rounds on discount codes sites?" said Dan Watchingbelkas, lead developer and founder of Vouchers.Im. "We have nothing against other browsers. We've just decided to offer our discount codes experience to Firefox users at first."
