Acclaimed game development studio Firemint today announced that an update for its Flight Control App for iPhone is now available on the App Store. The update takes advantage of the new features of iPhone 4 and iOS 4, and is available free of charge to owners of Flight Control.
Flight Control looks better than ever before on iPhone 4, with crisp high resolution graphics optimised for the Retina display. Multitasking is also enabled on compatible iOS 4 devices, to allow players to switch effortlessly between their favourite apps.
The highly addictive gameplay in Flight Control casts players in the role of an air traffic controller in charge of an increasingly busy airport. Players must touch aircraft and drag a path to the correct landing zone while avoiding collisions. The game includes five different airports as well as multiplayer mode over WiFi or Bluetooth.
Flight Control has been an outstanding App Store success with over 2,000,000 copies sold, as well as receiving wide games industry acclaim for its elegantly simple gameplay that created a new genre of “line drawing” games.
