Starting October 27th, we’ll have kettlebell and TRX Training workouts available each week for our members, in addition to workouts designed around the Unstoppable Fitness Formula™.

Washington Township’s premier fitness boot camp, Washington Township Fit Body Boot Camp, is announcing that they’re adding two new specialty workouts to their weekly lineup.

“Starting October 27th, we’ll have kettlebell and TRX Training workouts available each week for our members, in addition to workouts designed around the Unstoppable Fitness Formula™,” says Washington Township Fit Body owner Mel Parker. “We’ve also had a lot of members ask us to add Zumba classes, so we’ll be adding them very soon.”

The Unstoppable Fitness Formula™ is Fit Body Boot Camp’s intense, thirty-minute fat-burning workout that combines high-intensity interval training with resistance training, delivering fast results in very little time. That formula is what led Mel Parker to open his own fitness boot camp back in 2010.

“I was always a very active athlete, but I tore my Achilles tendon at the age of 43 and began a rehab process. That lengthy process helped me see that even experienced athletes sometimes need help achieving our health goals,” says Parker. “Since then, my focus has been on training and helping people to lose weight, lose body fat, and lead a healthier lifestyle. The fitness boot camp method is the most effective way to do that.

Parker stresses that it isn’t just about how clients look or how their clothes fit. “Through resistance training and high-intensity cardio, I help clients to reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease and osteoporosis. It’s all about health and longevity, in addition to looking amazing.”

Parker explains that adding the two new workouts to the fitness boot camp lineup helps clients stay interested and motivated so that they can reach their goals that much faster.

For those unfamiliar with TRX Training, it was developed by the Navy SEALs and uses bodyweight exercise to develop core stability, strength, flexibility and balance simultaneously. Hundreds of different exercises use both gravity and the user's body weight to get very fast results.

“It’s not easy,” says Parker, “but we keep it fun and everyone learns and progresses together. The results make it all worthwhile.”

The new classes will be held at the Washington Township Fit Body Boot Camp facility, which is located at 12 Shoppers Lane in Turnersville, NJ.
