Nia Technique is excited to announce that Debbie Rosas, founder and co-creator of the Nia Technique, will now be serving as the CEO. The transition occurred on December 22, 2012. Former CEO Jeff Stewart will continue to serve as Nia’s President and Chairman of the Board.
For the past 20 years, Stewart has served as CEO. “I have been inspired everyday by the powerful and personal ways the Nia Technique touches peoples' bodies, minds, emotions, and spirit,” he says. “It has been an incredible privilege to watch the Nia Training Faculty grow from 14 to 50 people around the world and see Nia spread from the United States to over 45 countries.”
Rosas is thrilled to be taking on this role as yet another way to steward and serve the incredible practice and community to which she gave birth. “I believe the best CEOs are visionaries and seekers,” says Rosas. “They are leaders of human potential and architects of transformation, educating, inspiring, and motivating people to step into their greatness. This is my focus and what I am dedicated to as I take the helm of Nia Technique, Inc.”
