Leading Authorities, Inc. (LAI) and Fleishman-Hillard (FH) announced today the formation of a strategic partnership to help clients obtain a greater return on investment from large association conferences, meetings, conventions and trade shows - through increased advance interest, attendance and, ultimately, revenue. Building upon their depth of experience in supporting trade and professional associations and industry-wide events, the two firms will offer a comprehensive suite of services to make any industry or association meeting a greater success - for attendees and organizers alike.

"Economic conditions are placing tremendous pressure on meetings, conventions and other events - for the organizations that sponsor them, and the individuals who attend them,' said Bill Pendergast, general manager of Fleishman-Hillard Washington, DC. "Yet these events play a critical role for associations and industry-wide organizations, creating member value, driving non-dues revenue, and advancing the agenda."

"The partnership between Leading Authorities and Fleishman-Hillard has tremendous potential to help clients make the most of any meeting," said LAI President and Founder Mark French. "By combining our strengths, we can bring fresh thinking to boost attendance and the meeting revenue stream."

Both firms have significant experience and expertise supporting trade and professional associations. LAI is one of the nation's top meeting content, design, and production companies and FH is a leading marketing and communications firm. Both firms possess well respected association practices and have made considerable contributions to the associations they serve.

In particular, LAI works with groups to design, promote, and execute world-class meetings while FH has the expertise and knowledge of both traditional and new media to create pre-meeting "buzz;" build attendance; provide surge capacity during the meeting; utilize the meeting to enhance the organization's brand; and extend the value of the meeting beyond the actual event. Together, the firms will work to help groups maximize the attendance and coverage of their meetings and to use the meetings as a platform for driving results in advocacy, education, association membership, non-dues revenue, sales, and other strategic areas.

"We look forward to this unique alliance," said Pendergast, "and believe it will bring great value to the association community and the members they serve."
