FlightStats, a flight tracking and airport information service provided by Conducive Technology Corp., is proud to announce the list of airlines that are finalists in FlightStats' 2010 On-Time Performance Service (OPS) Awards program. The OPS awards recognize airlines around the world that deliver the highest percentage of flights to their arrival gates within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time.

The company has been tracking airline on-time performance since 2004 and is uniquely qualified to present these awards as the leading provider of global airline status information.
To determine the finalists, FlightStats examined flight status and arrival data for 2010 aggregated from global sources including civil aviation authorities, airlines, airports, and major airline reservation systems. The Major International Airlines category includes airlines that fly a significant number of trans-oceanic or international flights spanning at least three continents with at least 30,000 flights operated annually. Finalists include:
The Major North American Airlines category includes airlines based in North America and operating at least 30,000 annual scheduled flights within North America. Finalists include:
The Major European Airlines category includes airlines based in Europe and operating at least 30,000 scheduled flights annually within Europe. Finalists include:
The Major Asian Airlines category is comprised of airlines based in Asia with service concentrated in Asia and operating at least 30,000 scheduled flights annually within Asia. Finalists include:
The Regional North American Airlines category is comprised of airlines based in North America with service concentrated in certain regions, states and provinces in North America and operating at least 20,000 scheduled flights annually. Finalists include:
The Regional European Airlines category is comprised of airlines based in Europe with service concentrated in Europe and operating at least 20,000 scheduled flights annually. Finalists include:
The Regional Asian Airlines category includes airlines based in Asia with service concentrated in Asia and operating at least 20,000 scheduled flights annually. Finalists include:
Additional Selection Criteria:
1. Airline performance was determined based on on-time arrivals (arrived at the gate within 15 minutes of the published scheduled arrival).
2. Awards are based solely on performance results for flights operated by the airline (no codeshares or regional subsidiary flights were considered).
3. Performance was assessed only for airlines where FlightStats could accurately determine the outcome of at least 50% of the carrier's flights.
4. Only scheduled passenger flights were included in the analysis (no charter, unscheduled, or cargo flights were considered).
5. For the North American, European and Asian regional awards, only flights departing and arriving within those regions were included in the analysis.
6. For global airlines awards, all flights operated by the airline were evaluated
