Bloggers ‘challenged’ to put their best foot forward by collecting shoes, with the winner joining Soles4Souls on an international trip to distribute shoes to those in need

Bloggers can post the Flippin Good Deeds banner on their site.

The goal of this campaign is to excite the online community about our cause and how they can use their influence to make a change.

Soles4Souls (http://www.soles4souls.org), one of the fastest growing charities in the country, launched the official ‘Soles4Souls flippin good deeds Challenge’ exclusively sponsored by flipflop wines (http://www.flipflopwines.com) on Tuesday. “The goal of this campaign is to excite the online community about our cause and how they can use their influence to make a change,” said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls. “flipflop wines and Soles4Souls have created buzz around the brand and our mission, but we want to continue that conversation by asking bloggers to actually give back in a tangible way and help generate awareness of how the simple act of giving a pair of shoes to someone in need can change a life.”

Bloggers are encouraged to engage their communities to clean out their closets and donate as many gently worn pairs of shoes as they can, while blogging about their ‘flippin’ good deeds.’ The bloggers who collect the most amount of shoes and post the best blog about their “flippin’ good deeds” during the ten week campaign will join Soles4Souls and a friend on an international mission trip of their choice (excluding Africa and India), where they will experience first-hand what it is like to provide a pair of shoes to someone in need.

“The new blogger contest motivates me to want to do even more. It fits my personal mantra of -- recycle, reduce, reuse -- and helps deliver flipflop sandals to people in need. Bloggers have already done a tremendous amount to help get the word out about Soles4Souls and flipflop wines and I have tremendous respect for their efforts. Working together now, we can make an even bigger difference,” said David Georges, vintner, flipflop wines.

All bloggers are welcome to take on the ‘challenge’ and can join by visiting http://www.Soles4Souls.org/flippingooddeeds. Winners will be announced after the conclusion of the campaign in November.
