Florida MEP Announces the Launch of its Revamped Website

Florida Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Florida MEP) is pleased to announce the launching of its revamped website (http://www.floridamep.org) which features many new programs and services.

The new Florida MEP website also includes manufacturing related announcements via Twitter ( @FloridaMEP) a manufacturing news blog, an expanded listing of resources / links available to Florida manufacturers, an updated listing of educational workshops and networking events, and easy search and navigation features. These updates have been implemented to enhance the customer’s experience and allow for quick access to information and resources.

The new design will provide a wealth of information about the many services Florida MEP provides as part of its mission to strengthen the global competitiveness of U.S. manufacturers. Site content is organized into categories that include Growth and Innovation, Continuous Improvement, Workforce Development, Supply Chain Development, Sustainability, Florida Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance, Sales and Marketing and Strategic Planning.

Manufacturers will appreciate the expanded section on Lean Manufacturing and ISO certification as well as new workforce training programs ( M.O.S.T.® ) and innovation engineering programs. The new Florida MEP website also offers “Ask An Expert,” a brief and simple form to enable manufacturers to communicate with MEP project managers regarding questions or comments.
