1300 FLOWERS is proud to announce an agreement to support RSPCA QLD, a non-government, community based charity dedicated to protecting the welfare of all animals both great and small.

1300 FLOWERS is an Australian owned and managed retailer of flowers that believes in supporting the community, charities and other not for profit organisations with credible causes that improve the quality of life for Australians and their loved ones. As a commitment to this cause, 1300 FLOWERS has recently developed a program and appointed an additional team member to focus on establishing relationships with and support of not for profit organisations right across Australia. This is because 1300 FLOWERS passionately believe that giving joy is not only about giving consumers access to the best quality flowers at great value but it is also about spreading joy by supporting those who are in need.

The team at 1300 FLOWERS is proud to announce that they have reached an agreement to support RSPCA QLD. In summary, RSPCA QLD is a non-government, community based charity dedicated to protecting the welfare of all animals both great and small. Approximately 40,000 animals depend on RSPCA QLD every year and RSPCA QLD is dependent on voluntary support and donations to continue their life saving work.

From the beginning of October 2009, 1300 FLOWERS will donate 10% of purchases made by customers who use the donation code of RSPCA10 when purchasing from the 1300 FLOWERS range of delivered flowers and gifts. The customer simply enters in the donation code of RSPCA10 when purchasing flowers online (at http://www.1300flowers.com.au) or quotes this code to one of the 1300 FLOWERS consultants when ordering on the telephone.

In addition, 1300 FLOWERS will provide free flowers on a weekly basis to the head office of RSPCA QLD located at Fairfield and provide vouchers containing the donation code in all Adoption Packs which get sent home with a newly adopted animal. 1300 FLOWERS is proud to support RSPCA QLD as animal welfare is an important community issue which 1300 FLOWERS feels passionately about.

The announcement of the relationship with RSPCA QLD follows the recent announcement to supply Greencross Vets with flowers exclusively. Greencross Vets is a national organisation with over 40 vet clinics across Australia which recently appointed 1300 FLOWERS as their exclusive supplier of flowers to their clinics and customers. So far, the results have been great with positive feedback received from Greencross Vets' staff and customers alike.

Going forward, 1300 FLOWERS will continue to support the community, charities and other not for profit organisations. In the ensuing months it is expected that further announcements will be made with regard to new support relationships between 1300 FLOWERS and other organisations which aim to improve the quality of life of Australians whether they be humans or other creatures great and small.
