The dramatically improved ease-of-use of version 2.0 of Focus GPS and its lower price now make it possible for ADHD-LD users on a general basis to organize their ideas and action thought-lines into a uniquely effective format.

Memory on Demand, LLC, developers of specialized software to support the short-term memories and organizational capabilities of ADHD-LD students, announces a new and lower price of $4.99 for version 2.0 of Focus GPS Pro. Version 2.0 features an integrated File Management design which enables the most effective use of this app. Students can now dictate new thoughts and facts within seconds of thinking of them into a well-organized and easily filed format for later action or review.
Ray Omholt, CEO of Memory on Demand, explains: “The dramatically improved ease-of-use of version 2.0 of Focus GPS and its lower price now make it possible for ADHD-LD users on a general basis to organize their ideas and action thought-lines into a uniquely effective format. Focus GPS software for all iPhones will become available in the App Store in December.”
Focus GPS uses multiple information-pathways (association, vision, and sound) to help ADHD-LD students to absorb information more deeply and, therefore, remember it longer. Its patent-pending design greatly simplifies the prioritization and analysis of tasks, thoughts, and decisions by displaying side-by-side views of related thought-lines for comparison. This is by far the easiest and most effective way for users to compare a variety of options and make logical choices between these options by their relative importance without having to rely on “memory” as part of this process.
The founder and CEO of Memory on Demand, Ray Omholt, suffered a stroke in 1990 that damaged his executive functions. After his stroke, he researched the working of the brain and its ability to remember, concentrate, and organize facts and thoughts. Based on his research and over twenty years of continuous testing and development, Omholt created Focus GPS, the software which he now uses daily to support his memory and increase his organizational capabilities.
Omholt’s software eventually enabled him to lead a normal life again in spite of the residual damage to his executive functions (EF) remaining after his stroke. This led Omholt to conclude that the software he had developed for himself might well also be valuable to others faced with similar short-term memory and organizational problems. Based on this conviction, Omholt founded Memory on Demand, LLC, in 2010, a company dedicated to the development of executive-function supporting apps designed to strengthen the short-term memories and related organization and cognitive performance of students and adults with ADHD-LD.
