John Fogerty, of Creedence Clearwater Revival fame, to play for the first time in 38 years at London's Royal Albert Hall on June 24, 2008. The concert will be filmed and recorded for a live DVD and CD, set for release Christmas 2008.

Fogerty finally reclaims his own musical vocabulary, playing with more passion and joy than he has in decades.

It has just been announced that the historic concert will be filmed with a planned DVD & CD release this fall in time for the 2008 Holiday Season.

38 years after first stepping on the Royal Albert Hall stage in April 1970 as the leader of Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty triumphantly returns to the London venue on June 24 in support of his GRAMMY-nominated album 'Revival'. It will be Fogerty's first show at Royal Albert Hall since he performed there with CCR in September 1971.

Playing at the historic venue during the height of CCR's phenomenal success, Fogerty couldn't have imagined the long journey that lay ahead of him. And now with his return to Royal Albert Hall Fogerty celebrates his recent 'Revival', coming full circle with a concert repertoire featuring his solo and CCR hits, as well as tracks from 'Revival,' of which Rolling Stone said "Fogerty finally reclaims his own musical vocabulary, playing with more passion and joy than he has in decades."
