San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 21, 2011
After only seven months on the streets, Doc’s of the Bay was voted one of the top 10 food trucks in San Francisco in the recently concluded SF Eater’s Choice Awards, sponsored by Chase Bank and Off the Grid. The SF Eater’s Choice Awards is an online poll asking people to vote for their favorite food truck in San Francisco, and highlighted those that the public considers to be the top ten best.
“We were flattered to be chosen amid the many great trucks in San Francisco, especially after being in business for such a short time. It's nice to feel like we are developing a devoted following,” says Lauren Smith, co-owner of Doc’s of the Bay.
Meanwhile, Doc’s of the Bay is expanding its foothold in Downtown San Francisco, with appearances for lunch every other Tuesday at U.N. Plaza, and every other Friday at 5th and Minna, both Off the Grid events. Within the next several weeks, Doc's will begin serving lunch at 2nd and Folsom every Wednesday. They also have permits pending for several locations in the Financial District and the Mission and hope to begin operations there in December.
