Saturdays in the Park at Lake Ella is a local music and food truck event every Saturday during the month of May at Tallahassee's favorite park. Street Chefs, a local food truck will be participating.

The Lake Ella Merchants Group and the Tallahassee Food Truck Association is pleased to announce “Saturdays in the Park at Lake Ella.” This weekly event will enhance the experience and enjoyment for all those who visit the beloved Lake Ella Park.

The grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday, May 4 at the gazebo on Lake Ella. Food trucks will be open from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Live music featuring Blue and Lonesome will kick off at 11:30 a.m. Street Chefs, a mobile restaurant run by Chef Rebecca Kelly will be on location. The food truck offers creative twists on family food like Not Your Mama’s Grilled Cheese Sandwich and a Black Bean Burger.

Visit the Lake Ella Merchants tent to grab coupons for the Lake Ella Shops. The Lake Ella Merchants will be raffling a gift basket full of goodies from all the participating businesses around Tallahassee benefitting The Children’s Home Society. The winner will be chosen on the following Saturday in honor of Mother’s Day.

Park visitors can rest assured that the park will continue to gleam in all of its natural beauty. The city of Tallahassee will be adding trash and recycling receptacles as well as doggie clean up stations for the event. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and appetites for delicious local fare and fun.
