Borini will have no shortage of fans after a highly successful season with Roma

DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their site football.co.uk.

It was today the turn of Liverpool’s Fabio Borini to see his official PFA Profile and Facebook page:

The Italian striker became the first signing for Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool boss in July 2012 for a fee reported to be around £10 million. Borini has played under Rodgers before with both Chelsea and Swansea and will be keen to link up with his old boss again in the red of Liverpool. Borini signed from Serie A side Roma after an impressive season with the Italian team and Liverpool fans will be hoping that his performances can live up to the hype in which he has arrived at Anfield.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Borini will have no shortage of fans after a highly successful season with Roma, with fans keen to see whether he can emulate those kind of performances when he links up with Luis Suarez and co.”

“Of course signing for a club like Liverpool requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”

A recent article published on Football.co.uk had this to say about Borini signing for Liverpool this season.

“I think the supporters will love him. He's a multi-functional player who can play in a number of positions and someone I believe has got great growth.”

Digital Sports Group will provide further PFA player profiles for every professional footballer in England.
