Walker will have no shortage of fans after a highly successful season with Tottenham in the premiership resulting in a fourth place finish for Spurs and an England call up for Walker

DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their site football.co.uk.

The Spurs defender was pivotal to Tottenham’s league success and his individual performances caught the eye of many as can be seen by receiving his first Senior England call up and being named the PFA Young Player of the Year 2011-2012. The most memorable moment for Walker will most likely be scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 win against local rivals Arsenal with a 25 yard strike.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Walker will have no shortage of fans after a highly successful season with Tottenham in the premiership resulting in a fourth place finish for Spurs and an England call up for Walker.”

“Of course being selected as the PFA’s Young Player of the Year award requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”
A recent article published on Football.co.uk had this to say about Walker’s performances for Tottenham this season.

“His performances have not gone unnoticed with his fellow professionals voting him PFA Young Player of the Year last month ahead of the likes of Sergio Aguero and Danny Wellbeck.”

Digital Sports Group will provide further PFA player profiles for every professional footballer in England.
