For a Third Year, Capital Edge Continues Sponsorship of the National Contract Management Association's Boston Chapter March Workshop
Capital Edge Continues Commitment to Educating Contract Management Professionals through Sponsorship of 59th Annual NCMA Boston Chapter Workshop
MCLEAN, Va., March 4, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Capital Edge Consulting, Inc., a global consulting firm that specializes in helping federal government contractors solve complex business problems, is pleased to announce company sponsorship and session training for the 59th Annual March Workshop hosted by National Contract Management Association's (NCMA) Boston Chapter at Bentley University in Waltham, MA on March 11, 2020.
The March Workshop is the Boston Chapter's signature event on which NCMA National has modeled its annual World Congress conference. Attendance includes over 400 professionals and covers a spectrum of courses taught by Government and industry experts with beginner, intermediate, and advanced level courses. Industry-focused courses, as well as special topics and soft skills seminars, are also featured. Each March Workshop is highlighted by a keynote speaker and this year features Sheila Heen, Harvard Law School Lecturer and Co-author of the New York Times Business Bestseller, Difficult Conversations: How to Discuss What Matters Most. The keynote is followed by a mid-day luncheon and networking hour at the end to allow contracting professionals time to connect with fellow NCMA members.
Capital Edge team members Chad Braley and Marie Salamone will be presenters at the workshop presenting "Surviving an Incurred Cost Audit", covering the wide array of challenges contractors face when responding to an audit of indirect costs. This session will present a survival guide for contractors scheduled to undergo an incurred cost audit. Incurred cost audits can be wearisome and time-consuming as well as impact the daily operations of company staff. Understanding the expectations of auditors should dramatically improve the experience and potential outcome.
NCMA is the world's leading professional resource for those in the field of contract management.
The Boston chapter is an experienced and motivated group of almost six hundred contract management professionals dedicated to the educational advancement and professional growth of both government and commercial contracts and procurement personnel in the greater Boston area.
"Capital Edge continues its commitment to this premier event for a third year due to NCMA's ability to provide a superb educational, networking, and professional development platform for contract management professionals," says Chad Braley, Founder and Managing Partner of Capital Edge. "This event is a great opportunity for Capital Edge to support NCMA and its educational efforts to the Boston-area members of the acquisition community as well as our Boston-area clients."
