Originally created in 2007 by entrepreneur Laurie Cohen, the website’s new look debuts a simplified navigation and the ability to compare shop products from multiple merchants on one page in order to save visitors time.

“So often women are overwhelmed when planning these big events, and I wanted to create a resource that would have great suggestions on ideas and products,” says Cohen. “Just because you are busy doesn’t mean you don’t want the fun of planning your special event - but it’s definitely easier when you can find all the information you need in one place.”

Cohen, a former party store owner and mother of three brides, wanted to share her expertise with other women-on-the-go. ForBrideandBaby.com was created to cater to the needs of busy women and executives.

Cohen says that the process of developing and upgrading her website improved her skills and changed her business - for the better.
