Ford Drives U College Student Purchase Program offers $500 bonus cash for recent college graduates and currently enrolled college students. Applicants must purchase or lease an eligible new vehicle, and take retail delivery from dealer stock before January 3, 2011. Special ordered vehicles must arrive and be delivered by January 3, 2011.
This special is available for undergraduate students currently enrolled full-time at an accredited Four-Year College/University, Junior College, Community College or Trade School in a minimum of 2 classes or an equivalent of 6 credit hours. Also acceptable is those who graduated or will graduate from an accredited Four-Year College/University, Junior College, Community College or Trade School between May 1, 2008 and January 3, 2011 or are currently enrolled in an accredited Graduate School program.
Also, Ford Motor Company is honored to reward America’s servicemen and servicewomen for their commitment to our country through the Ford Military Appreciation Program. This offer provides active duty and reserve personnel with the opportunity to receive $500 bonus cash toward the purchase or lease of any eligible new 2009/2010-Model Ford Car, Truck & SUV (excluding Mustang Shelby GT, Shelby GT 500, Ford F-550, Harley and Hybrid Vehicles). The cap for the total reimbursement is $1,200. The term “adaptive equipment” describes an installed device, in addition to a structural modification, that is necessary for a person with a permanent physical disability to drive or be transported in a vehicle. This equipment ranges from alternative acceleration and braking systems to ramps, lifts and winches for wheelchairs.
Some equipment not thought of as typical adaptive equipment, that serve a need to operate or ride in a vehicle, such as keyless entry systems, power seats, running boards or lumbar seats, which are not available from the factory, may be eligible for reimbursement.
