Leading Specialist protection provider Aequitas Automotive have become and official partner of the 'Know Before You Go' campaign run by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK. The government run campaign is designed to encourage travelers to plan ahead of any trip to ensure their safety and security.

Aequitas Automotive back the KBYG Campaign, as they provide essential financial protection for consumers who may use their vehicle when traveling overseas. A spokesperson for the company explained why they have joined the campaign and what they plan to provide to their customers.

"We understand that millions of UK residents enjoy a holiday, or go on a business trip each year. We also appreciate that many will use their own vehicle when they do leave our shores. This could be a car, a motorbike, a motor home or even a commercial van, and we will provide financial protection products should the vehicle be written off in an accident or stolen.

The Know Before You Go campaign provides consumers with information and practical advice on planning a trip abroad. The provision of adequate insurance is an essential part of the planning, and we hope to ensure we provide one element of cover that may be considered.

As a campaign partner we will provide dedicated areas on our insurance websites for the campaign message. This will include video's and checklists, as well as up to date news provided from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office team behind the campaign."

Aequitas Automotive added that it plans to include a new dedicated section to each of its retail websites as well as new branded facilities planned to launch in the next few months.
