We want guests to feel pampered and special. This is going to be a once in a lifetime evening; we are going far beyond the usual expectations for a ball. Guests will be surprised, delighted, enchanted and entertained. I cannot say any more.

Fort Chapard Hotel has announced a lavish Valentine’s Day 2011 Masked Ball. The luxury hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovation work and is due to open in the New Year. The cutting edge design and top-of-the-range finishes will ensure that this lavish boutique hotel will appeal to the most discerning guests looking for a no-expense-spared retreat in the heart of the countryside.

Tickets to The Valentine Masked Ball will be available to guests, as well as members of the public not staying at Fort Chapard. A grand marquee is to be erected in the extensive grounds, in close proximity to the remains of the original 18-century Fortress, to create a truly exceptional dinner and dance environment. Dinner will be prepared by the chefs in the hotel’s Moat restaurant and will be a seven-course tasting menu, with wines to complement each course.

The tickets will specify formal wear and this is something that is important for the hotel Events Manager, Louis Dregood. “We want guests to feel pampered and special. This is going to be a once in a lifetime evening; we are going far beyond the usual expectations for a ball. Guests will be surprised, delighted, enchanted and entertained. I cannot say any more.”

With rumours afoot that circus performers, snake charmers and well-known singers will all be appearing at the Ball, this is certain to be a hot ticket event. Prices start at £100 per ticket, rising to £600 for the full VIP treatment, including a suite in the hotel for the night. Hotel Manager, Guy Ross-Wiles admits that it’s not cheap but it will be worth every penny. “We’ve already had interest from a number of magazines for exclusive coverage and we expect tickets to sell out quickly. It’s a great way to celebrate the opening of Fort Chapard once the work is complete and to put the hotel firmly on the society map”.

ABOUT: Fort Chapard is a luxury hotel being renovated in the grounds of a 19-century fortress. The remains of the original fort stand close to the hotel.
