About the Speakers
Galen Schreck is a principal analyst at Forrester Research. Galen serves Enterprise Architecture professionals. He researches architectural best practices in management, networking, storage, and processing technologies. Current topics include technical architecture, data center architecture, and IT virtualization. Galen's areas of expertise include IT strategy, scale-out computing, and product marketing. Galen came to Forrester from 3Com, where he was business manager for 3Com's line of WAN and VPN solutions. His background also includes technology and healthcare consulting for Fortune 500 clients. Prior to 3Com, Galen was with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Management Consulting Services, where he specialized in networking, security, and high-end computing. As a member of PwC's Technology Leadership Group, he provided insight on technology issues and implemented back-office solutions for some of PwC's largest clients. Galen holds a B.S. in computer science from Hobart College.

Dave Capuano is the chief product officer at Fortisphere. He has more than 17 years of experience in the information technology industry and led the product portfolios and marketing activities of a series of new ventures. Most recently, Dave served as the vice president of product management at e-Security, where he was instrumental in orchestrating the overhaul of the flagship Sentinelâ„¢ product, helping drive more than 50 percent annual growth leading to the company's $72M acquisition by Novell. Prior to joining e-Security, Dave served as the vice president of marketing and product management of SilentRunner, Inc., the market leading network forensic analysis solution that was acquired by Computer Associates. Other experience includes roles at TruSecure Corporation (Cybertrust), Bell Atlantic Internet Solutions (BAIS -- the precursor to Verizon Online) and PSINet, Inc.
