In this role, Mr. Spotts will spearhead the growth of the company's directly-owned international product businesses in Mexico and the United Kingdom, as well as developing a worldwide network of business partners to license the FranklinCovey Products name for organizational and productivity tools, including planners, business bags, cases and totes, binders and covers, and its proprietary PlanPlus Planning Software™ and PlanPlus Online™. The company believes it has an underdeveloped international presence for its unique line of business and planning products.

Sarah Merz, CEO of FranklinCovey Products, said, "FranklinCovey has developed a powerful brand name in international markets as a result of its strong presence in training and consulting, yet the international product side of our business is relatively small compared to our domestic product business. I believe we have a significant opportunity to leverage our brand name and unique consumer appeal via the licensing model to realize significant growth in the sale of our planning and organizational products outside the U.S."

Prior to joining FranklinCovey Products, Mr. Spotts held senior licensing positions with Woolrich, Inc., The Coleman Company, Inc. and The Sharper Image. Mr. Spotts also worked at Equity Management, Inc., where he managed the Goodyear licensing program.
