"The CO2 lasers which were popular in the '90s have not had a low-downtime comparative system until now," states Dr. Pilest. The Fraxel Re:pair has dramatically altered both the treatment process and eliminated the tell-tale demarcation line and that wax-doll look that announced one had elected to have a laser resurfacing. Fast healing with a downtime of about a week has made this technology appealing to many who would otherwise never have considered such a procedure.
