Q-Will, the online wills service from Ford & Warren Solicitors, is now providing free wills to people aged over 55 through Cancer Research UK.

The firm, that has been helping individuals to create wills for almost 200 years, launched their online wills service earlier this year and have now announced that they will be providing free wills to Over 55s in conjunction with Cancer Research UK.

Statistics show that over half of the population does not have a will. Peter McWilliams, a Senior Partner at Ford & Warren, says, “Despite online wills services making it even easier to make a will, half of people still don't get round to it. We are pleased to be a part of Cancer Research UK's Free Wills scheme which will hopefully encourage more people to make sure that they don't die without a will, and if it raises awareness about the charity too then that is a terrific bonus.”

Over 55s can make their free wills through Q-Will by visiting the Q-Will website at http://www.quickonlinewills.com or the Cancer Research UK website at http://legacies.cancerresearchuk.org/adding-us-to-your-will/freewill-service/ to obtain the free promotional code. They can then click through to http://www.quickonlinewills.com, write their will and get a Free Gold Service will absolutely free, (or a Platinum Service will, with the additional peace of mind it provides, for just £30 - usual price £66), by entering the promotional code when instructed to do so.

Currently, more than a third of Cancer Research UK's work is made possible because of legacies – helping the charity to save even more lives. “Using the Free Will Service through Q-Will is an excellent way to look after those you care about most and, at the same time support Cancer Research UK through a gift in your will.” says Jack Visser, Legacy Product Manager, Cancer Research UK.

Although there is absolutely no obligation to leave a legacy to Cancer Research UK to receive the free will, the charity does hope that people will take the opportunity to support the charity. Find out more at http://www.quickonlinewills.com/free-wills-cancer-research
