Free Auctions, Ebay to Stop Charging Fees?

When you think of online auctions you mostly think ebay. However, there are now new better choices out there to auction off or sell your items. Most sellers do not know free auctions ( http://www.free-auctions.ca/ ) offers a better free ebay alternative when it comes to listing your auctions.

St André, QC (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- Free Auctions owner announced that the commissions on sold auctions fees will never increase and will only be drawn lower. The decision was made in the interest of both, buyer and seller, to which it would further drive a better auction sale.

Carl Crevier owner of free auctions believes it's a good step for the online auction marketplace. Carl says, "I personally believe in giving a cheaper alternative is a great solution. This is the main reason why I started free auctions. By using free auctions the seller has reduced auction fees which in turn he can lower his auction prices and channel it to the buyer."

Not a bad concept for sellers. When asked about ebay fees Carl answered: "Ebay has caught on the name of feebay with sellers, will ebay ever offer free auction listings, probably not, just the opposite they seem to be hiking fees. They do however offer promotional days were you may get a free listing. It is nothing compared to free auctions where we offer a permanent free ebay alternative to auction listings." He was also quick to add, "Our shop system is also free for online shops containing less than 200 items."

When investigated the fees did seem much better: commissions ranging from 2.00% to 1.20% for items in the 10$ plus range no reserve price fees, buy now fees or listing fees. The only fee that may go up is the featured item fees from the information gathered from Carl.

Free auctions offers free auction listings on antiques, art pieces, electronics, toys and games and everything else. They feature lower commissions and reduced online store fees than most online auction websites.

Free auctions is owned by sole proprietor Carl Crevier under C.C. Distribution.

The term ebay was solely used to identify ebay inc.
