Fresh Coat Painters has added to its California operations with the launch of Elfrin Colón’s franchise in Riverside, which will serve residential and commercial clients in Riverside, Anaheim, Irvine, Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore and surrounding communities.
After working 15 years as a qualification manager, where he managed facilities services and served in constructing projects for the pharmaceutical industry, Colón said he was ready for a change.
“I worked for an excellent company,” he said. “But I wanted to own a company myself, put my efforts into something that could grow and be successful for me, something that I could pass to my sons when I retire where they could take care of it and keep it going.”
The father of three sons, ages 10, 19 and 22, Colón said that he is very family-oriented and wanted his business to be one that paired well with his desire to spend time with them and his wife, Lucy.
Self-described as “analytical,” Colón said he researched several franchises extensively, but opted to pursue only Fresh Coat.
