Author Kris Anderson takes a stand against bullyin with the Fritz Movement and challenges participants in relationships or in the dating pond to wear the "F" Band to remind themselves to "Be Kind, Be Real, No B.S for 30 days."

"Fritz the Frog" is on a quest to educate and put a stop to the nonsense.

Whether it’s at school, at work, an e-mail or walking down the street, everyone at some point in their lives has a run-in with a bully and you may not even realize it.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. In an effort to curb bullying, Kris Anderson, author of Kissing Frogs Tall Tales and Insights from the Dating Pond and her Frog Prince “Fritz” are starting the “Be Kind, Be Real, No B.S. Fritz Movement.” See the blog at http://kissingfrogsinthedatingpond.com/why-join-the-fritz-movement/.

In the wake of incidents like the WKBT anchorwoman who received an e-mail criticizing her weight, saying she was fat and a disgrace to her community, to the death of a 15-year-old Indiana high school student bullied online, “Fritz the Frog” is on a quest to educate and put a stop to the nonsense.

“Fritz” is urging everyone to join the “Fritz Movement” by wearing and snapping a Silly Bandz to show support for kindness. Challengees can pick up their FREE "F" Band at Platella Jewelry located at 15205 N Kierland Blvd, Suite 150, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.

“As a society we talk about people, we pick on them. In most instances, I don’t think it’s done to be malicious. The Fritz Movement is designed to get people thinking, to “snap” them back into reality,” says Anderson. “I want people to recognize that their actions have consequences. This is about stopping the insanity and being real. We all have feelings.”

Anderson believes the dating pond is no different. While her book is a comedic take on her worst dates, she goes to great lengths to protect egos and identities. Anderson puts the feelings of her potential suitors above her own. She truly believes there’s good in everyone. As she chronicles her time in the dating pond she hopes to learn and teach people on the ups and downs of life and dating through these experiences.

Beginning October 20th, Kissing Frogs Tall Tales and Insights from the Dating Pond will be available for purchase at Fry’s Superstore at 4707 E. Shea Blvd. The book is available through Amazon and can be purchased for Kindle & Nook.
