Full Sail University (fullsail.edu) is proud to announce that a total of 53 graduates are credited on 22 Oscar®-nominated motion pictures this year and were involved in the production of nine out of the ten Best Picture nominated films. The 82nd Annual Academy Awards will air live on ABC, March 7, 2010 at 8:00 PM EST.
Full Sail graduates are credited in categories including: Best Picture, Best Performance by an Actor/Actress in a Leading Role, Animated Feature Film, Cinematography, Music, Directing, Visual Effects, Film Editing, Sound Mixing, and more. Graduate work includes the following films: Avatar, The Blind Side, Coraline, District 9, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Food, Inc., Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Julie & Julia, Kavi, The Lovely Bones, The Messenger, Nine, Precious: Based on the Novel “Push,” A Serious Man, Sherlock Holmes, A Single Man, Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Up, and Up in the Air.
