Emergency Preparedness company First Aid Global was one of many vendors selling products at the 'Parents Against Luekemia' Fundraiser at the Woodland Hills, CA Marriott Hotel on Monday, May 7. Among all the jewelry and clothing vendors packing the hotel conference room, First Aid Global stood out the most with their colorful assortment of Earthquake Backpacks for sale.
"We've participated in two major fundraisers this year so far, with more on the horizon," says First Aid Global President Eduardo Galvan. "It's a 'feel good' situation when we can help raise funds for important causes, while at the same time provide preparedness security to hundreds of local residents. We may stand out from all the other vendors, but that difference is what gets people's attention."
First Aid Global has already attended 17 health fairs, expos, fundraisers and preparedness shows in 2012 with more requests coming in every week. Amongst them were private expos put on by companies like Execpro, OSI Systems, Lockheed Federal Credit Union, Polypeptide Labs, Phenomenex and Union Plaza in downtown LA. Other upcoming events in May include Health Expos at Hain Personal Care and Meggitt Defense Systems.
"We're even holding an Emergency Preparedness Parking Lot Sale this coming Saturday, May 12th in front of the First Aid Global warehouse in Tarzana," Eduardo says. "Just show up in the parking lot after 9AM at 18730 Oxnard Street to get your own Earthquake Kits, Go-Bags, Emergency Food & Water, Solar Powered Rechargers and Power Failure Batteries, even Pandemic Kits."
